Details: Our turf is grown in the best Te Horo loam, sown with
high performance NZ grown grass seed, that produces a turf that performs
better than imported seed in the NZ climate - it is highly adaptable to
variations in rainfall, sunlight, soil type, PH level and nutrients. Gone are the days of the old types of grass, which were coarse and very fast growing. Today the modern grasses are fine leaved, slow growing and easy to maintain. Our Endurance turf is a mixture of the modern lawn cultivars that produces a really tough lawn - ideal for family use. Please Note: During warm weather and particularly the months of December to March turf should always be laid on the day of delivery. On average a novice can lay 50sq.m. in 2 hours if all preparations have been done beforehand. Important: Newly laid turf will need to be watered daily until established, i.e. rooted down into soil beneath. | Soil Preparation for a Beautiful Lawn | |
| The best lawn turf will struggle to do well if laid on
poor soil, the turf needs to be laid on at least 100mm of good quality
topsoil. Prior to laying your turf, apply our lawn establishment
fertilizer to the topsoil. Then roll out your lawn turf and enjoy.
